For the past couple of months I have been dying to go on a hiking trip because:
  1. I have a DSLR camera
  2. I love taking photos of nature
  3. I love nature
Those are valid points that I cannot argue with, I begged my dad to take us on a hiking trip since I was in Ohio and where I live there is only flat land (Florida). After planning all the details we were on the road one hour away from our destination. Once we arrived I was filled with raw excitement! Here are some of the photos I took.

Liebster Award

In all honesty I have never been tagged or awarded with something like this, so you can for sure know that I was beyond excited to do this!

    I really don't believe in New Year resolutions, but if I could make one up it would be to travel to California!

Young's Ice cream & Country Roads

Hello! 

I have been vacationing in Ohio for almost 3 weeks now and whenever I return home to see my family we have this tradition…we go to Young’s. Most of you are like what? Young’s is a dairy farm where they make their own ice cream and who does not love homemade ice cream? Well my family does and that is why it is a tradition.



I wish I could have capture more photos inside but it was so busy (because it is summer time) and they were rushing me to pay for my ice cream. My ultimate flavor of ice cream is (in this order) coffee-chocolate-coffee, now this is what I get every time I go to Young’s and it never fails me. Now, my family always says that I should try new flavors but why take such a HUGE risk on something that will disappoint me when I have created perfection to my taste buds! We all love this place ever since I was able to walk we always visit Young’s as a little treat plus a great get away. Oh the memories!
After our short trip to Young’s, I decided that I wanted to stop and take some photos because along the country roads of Ohio was beautiful scenery. My family and I were all up for it so we went the long way back home.


One of the coolest moments was seeing a deer! We were honestly lucky to have seen one while we were driving on the country roads.

Dear Me,

For a while now I've had this feeling about myself that I could not understand. I would always find myself feeling so negative and doubtful, I never could pinpoint what was wrong. Until I did some real deep searching and figured it out, I am not happy with myself. Happiness is so essential to life because if you don't have it…then you cannot be truly satisfied with yourself and even for others. So, I am going to find my self-happiness to start it off I wrote a letter to myself, this letter is for my own encouragement. I will be adding more to the letter but this is the first step. The reason I am putting this up for you to see because maybe you are struggling yourself and need some where to start?

"Dear Me,

   
 I hope you find what you are looking for. I hope that one day when you look into the mirror, and see the girl that is staring back at you is smiling. I hope your smile is so infectious that it lights up the entire universe. One day you will love every inch of yourself to the point of oblivion. I hope you look back, but when you look back you know you were in a dark place and that place wasn't where you belong. I hope you make all your dreams come true. I hope that you will look at yourself as a warrior, you survived the storm. But when those dark days come to surface, you will be able fight through the fire. May your days be spent with the people who love you and may you laugh with those who understand you. May your heart open up for the world to see and never shy away from it. Live your life. Travel the world, discover the unknown, get inspired by the world and fall in love with it. Oh and love? You will find it, he will be waiting patiently for you he will be what you need and oh so more. You will fall in love so hard that there is no way out and boy, he will feel like the luckiest man in the world. That man will love you the way he should and trust me he will love you so wholesomely, passionately, gently. He will understand you and know your ugliest secrets but still love every inch of you. It may scare you at first but he will show you the way. I know one day you will be happy. I just can't wait to join you. Dear me I will see you some day.

My day at the park

  Recently I was given my first DSLR camera and I was so excited to start my photography. My dad understood the importance of how desperately I was wanting to hold my camera and shoot away. So one day my dad, brother and I squished in the car and went on a mini trip to the park. We arrived at a park but it was so much more, honestly one of the most beautiful scenery I have laid eyes on in Ohio.











Sometimes nature will surprise you at how shockingly beautiful it can truly be, I fell in love with it so slowly but surely. It shows me how I need to spend more time outdoors instead of being cooped up in my room. You don't have to spend money on a time like this because it is free and sinfully wonderful.

Laptops and Coffee

   I must make a confession, I have drank two cups of coffee and yes I prefer my creamer with my coffee. No I do not feel ashamed about it, well if I had to confess to you then yes I do feel ashamed. Now as I am sitting crossed legged with my laptop propped up on my lap and sipping away with my second cup of coffee at 8 o'clock at night, I tend to ponder into the world of sophistication.

   Why does it seem so important to have a cup of Joe and your laptop right at the tip of your fingers? Maybe it just adds a little bit of a cool factor to your persona, or a sense of 'I am too busy with my cool life to be bothered by you' or it shows that you are a highly intelligent human, too intelligent that people at an average level will never understand your thoughts. I am probably looking way too deep into this whole persona, but the thought of it can be glamorized to the point where you are wanting to go into a coffee shop with a laptop by your side to fit in.

   I personally like the whole idea, look at it this way you get a relaxing atmosphere plus amazing coffee (depending on where you go) and you get to make great friends that have the same interest as you. What could possibly be better?
